On 3 March, AU Herning hosted an innovation event. 250 upper secondary school students were invited to attend classes and create innovation projects based on input from AU Herning’s researchers
On 12 January 2015, the Dean’s Office decided to establish a new Programme Board of Studies for Business Engineering at Aarhus BSS.
On Friday 30 January, family, friends, lecturers and business executives turned up at AU Herning to celebrate the 133 graduates, who had just earned their degrees in engineering, business administration and management.

Nordic researchers have developed a user-friendly web-based tool that can help home owners secure their houses and gardens against the challenges brought on by the changing climate. By entering data about your house, you can retrieve knowledge and advice on how to protect your house against climate related damage in the future.
School of Business and Social Sciences has been granted the AMBA accreditation from the internationally recognised accreditation association that awards accreditations to MBA programmes.
From 29 to 30 October, AU Herning was represented at the Food Tech fair at the MCH Messecenter Herning with an innovative student competition, the Food Tech Challenge 2014, as well as the international conference “Multi Business Model Technology Innovation in the Food Tech Industry”.
Stanford University has just opened its new Stanford Peace Innovation Lab at Aarhus University’s department in Herning. The two universities have collaborated on the establishment of a new laboratory, which will form the basis for joint research projects in the future. The collaboration between AU Herning and Stanford University opens new doors both to the Danish business community and to the department, which will be given access to conducting research on the highest level.
