As a cultural sociologist, I explore how societal discourses are reflected, created, and contested within the everyday practices of organizations. Much of my research focuses on creativity and innovation as socio-cultural and material processes, and how they become shaped and understood through often obscured or overlooked aspects, such as failure, time, and secrecy. My research spans various organizational contexts, including digital media, scientific laboratories, and the healthcare industry, which I study through processual and practice-based approaches. I am a member of the editorial collective of ephemera: theory and politics in organization, and the research network ‘Organised Creativity’ and teach courses on organizational theory, innovation, alternative organizing, and sustainable futures.
