Tsz Ki (pronounced “C K”) focuses on developing empirical and theoretical understandings of identity and sense-making in hidden communities in digital spaces, as well as the sustainability of the independent creative documentary industry.
Her PhD project, Organising Alternatively: Micro-Resistance Tools for Fear-Proof Viewing and Distribution in the Creative (Film) Industry, examines alternative organizing practices in the creative sector. Her research interests include:
Prior to joining BTECH, she studied Media Arts Cultures in Austria (Universität für Weiterbildung Krems), Denmark (Aalborg University), and Poland (Uniwersytet Łódźki), and has been working as an independent documentary film producer. She also holds a degree in Journalism from The University of Hong Kong.
