From ribbon cutting to bar hygge – official opening of AU Herning's new student environment and open house event
Wednesday, 19 February was a day of celebration at AU Herning. We marked the official opening of our new study environment with a speech, the traditional red ribbon cutting and a tour of our upgraded facilities – including the new library, Business Factory and our brand-new student bar in the basement. Afterward, we opened our doors for an open house event, inviting future students to stop by and learn more about our study programmes.
The atmosphere at the official opening was incredible, and we are proud to offer our students even better spaces for learning, innovation and socialising.
Our new student bar still needs a name, so we invited guests and students to participate in a naming competition. The best suggestion will win an optimistic prize. We look forward to revealing the final name and appreciate all the creative suggestions.
But the festivities didn't end there. Immediately after the official opening, we welcomed visitors to our open house event, offering potential students a glimpse into student life at AU Herning.
Visitors had the opportunity to learn more about our study programmes, meet students and faculty and experience the unique atmosphere that defines our campus.
We are grateful for the support and look forward to welcoming both current and future students.
