S Jarjees Ul Hassan, Ph.D., received his B.S. degree in Electrical Power Engineering from COMSATS University Islamabad, Abbottabad Campus, Pakistan, in 2018. He then pursued a combined Master’s and Doctoral program in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea, completing his Ph.D. in 2025.

During his academic journey, he specialized in power system analysis, distributed energy resources, and hosting capacity analysis. His research has focused on advanced hosting capacity assessement and enahncement, renewable energy and vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology integration, optimal smart inverter control, and hybrid AC/DC distribution systems. He has also worked on developing analytical and machine learning-based frameworks for real-time grid operation and planning.

Dr. Hassan has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in high-impact international journals and conferences, covering topics such as renewable energy integration, voltage regulation, and machine learning applications for distribution networks. His work aims to enhance the resilience, flexibility, and efficiency of modern power systems through innovative control strategies and intelligent decision-making tools.
