Topic of PhD project
Adoption of Power-to-X in the Heavy Transport Sector.
Research background/interests
My PhD explores the factors influencing the adoption of Power-to-X (PtX) technologies in the heavy transport sector. The research investigates decision-making processes among market actors, the role of policy and regulation, and market dynamics shaping the sustainable energy transition.
Theoretical background/interests
I work within the field of Sustainability Transitions Theory, integrating perspectives from socio-technical transitions, innovation systems, and decision-making theory. I aim to deepen my expertise in transition frameworks and complement it with theories on actor networks, market formation, and technology adoption.
Methodological background/interests
My methodological approach is primarily qualitative, with a focus on case studies, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis. I have experience with qualitative data collection and thematic analysis and aim to strengthen my skills in comparative case study design and mixed-method integration.
