Vi har spurgt Benjamin, hvorfor han så ofte bliver citeret.
"Jeg tror, det er en blanding af tre ting i min forskning: (1) brugen af tværfaglige værktøjer og koncepter fra ingeniør- og naturvidenskab samt jura, økonomi, offentlig politik, sociologi og historie; (2) anvendelsen af både kvantitative og kvalitative metoder; og (3) et fokus på at bedrive praksisnær og anvendelsesorienteret forskning, der let kan forstås (og bruges) af beslutningstagere og borgere, især i forbindelse med store sociale udfordringer som fattigdomsbekæmpelse, uretfærdighed, sårbarhed og klimaforandringer", fortæller han.
Der er to nye projekter, som han er særligt begejstret for pt. Det ene er GENIE-projektet og det andet er IDRIC-projektet.
