Who are we visiting?
Witt, established in 1993 as a home appliances retailer in Denmark, has evolved into an international brand house that distributes and markets products across various categories globally. While initially selling to major appliance and kitchen retailers, Witt's reach has expanded to the entire Nordic region, England, Ireland, the Benelux countries, the Baltic countries, the USA and Canada. With over 180 enthusiastic and skilled employees, Witt is committed to delivering high-level service to its customers.

Witt takes pride in handling the entire company foundation in-house and looks forward to showcasing it to you and having a discussion about how Witt conducts business in today's market.

Herning Blue Fox is a professional ice hockey club based in Herning. The club competes in the top Danish ice hockey league, known as Metal Ligaen. Despite ice hockey being a small sport in Denmark, Herning Blue Fox has delivered several players to the best league in the world, the NHL. The club not only develops its own talents, but also recruits players and coaches from several different countries.

During our visit to Herning Blue Fox, we'll hear about what it's like to run a professional sports club in Herning. We'll also learn how the club has developed an ambitious business model that combines ice hockey with sustainability and corporate social responsibility.

The final stop is Scene 7, where we'll finish the day with tapas. Scene 7 is a cozy concert venue located in the heart of Herning.

The event is open to all AU Herning students and is free of charge.
