About AIROD

The AIROD section's aim is to facilitate collaborative research of the highest international standard, create a basis for research-based teaching and ensure relevance for the surrounding ecosystem of companies, public organisations and other stakeholders. The collaborative nature of the section is aimed at collaboration both within the academic community (across the section, the department and Aarhus University and across national and international universities and research institutions) and with the broad set of local, regional, national and international stakeholders.

In addition to its research activities, AIROD is committed to ensuring the research foundation of business and management curricular activities, particularly at the BSc in Economics and Business Administration study programme, but also in terms of the MSc in Information Technology in IT, Communication and Organisation and the MSc in Engineering (Technology Based Business Development) study programme.

Vision

AIROD’s vision is to become a leading European unit for research in technology-driven organisational and business development through practice-oriented, collaborative research.

Mission

AIROD’s mission is to carry out research of the highest international standards within the fields of technology, people, organisations and markets – and the intersection between the four fields.
