On 1 February 2005, Business Factory opened its doors for the first time. Business Factory is a knowledge centre under the Department of Business Development and Technology and is known for contributing to the promotion of innovation, entrepreneurship and independence in central and western Jutland. The day-to-day management is handled by Jan Kvist Martinsen.
During the years that Business Factory has existed, a study programme has been initiated, active participants for the innovation camp and the innovation week have been recruited and Business Factory has given lectures in innovation at many different events.
Business Factory’s goal is to promote and encourage the desire of students and others for innovation and entrepreneurship. In order to do this in the best possible way, it is important that Business Factory itself is innovative and has entrepreneurial spirit. Therefore, the everyday life at Business Factory is characterised by tasks that focus on innovation and entrepreneurship.
