Does your company have an idea, but lack the resources necessary to develop the right concept based on the latest technologies?

In a concept development project, the company will gain insight into how new technologies can be used to develop innovative concepts. During the course of the project, new prototypes will be developed and subsequently tested. The objective is that, after the project, the student will be able to communicate in a relevant and professional manner about a product idea on a concept level. The communication aims to make probable the market potential of the product idea, the technical or technological feasibility and the financial and business-related consequences of completing the project. 

What can the company expect from this project?

  • Innovative concept development: The student works with subjects defined by the company with the purpose of developing innovative concepts.
  • Result: An innovative concept with a presentation and report (and possibly a prototype).
  • New colleagues: The company has the opportunity to find students for new projects as well as future employees.

What is required by the company?

  • A concept development project requires that the company has an idea that it wants conceptualised.
  • Conduct of meetings with the student during the course of the project.
  • Availability in terms of answering questions from the student by email or phone.  

Timeline

  • August-November: Application for the project
  • January-February: Assignment of project group
  • February-June: Project work
  • June: Submission and presentation of the project
