Congratulations to 112 winter graduates
Today, we celebrated 112 graduates at the largest winter graduation ever at AU Herning. In addition to the graduation speech, which was given by Juliane Rask Maack from BDE, the graduation ceremony also included musical performances as well as the awarding of diplomas and graduation prizes.
Our head of department Anders Frederiksen welcomed the guests, followed by a speech by Kenneth Mikkelsen, former Member of Parliament and current CEO of the Business Development Centres Herning and Ikast-Brande and Ringkøbing-Skjern.
In addition to the graduation speech, which was given by Juliane Rask Maack from BDE, the graduation ceremony also included musical performances and, of course, the awarding of diplomas.
Last but not least, the following graduation prizes were awarded – huge congratulations to:
- Best Final Project, BDE / the Business Development prize. Prize presenter: Jan Laursen on behalf of SMV Herning.
- The Bachelor of Engineering prize. Prize presenter: Bjørn Rannestad from KK Wind Solutions.
- The MSc in Engineering prize. Prize presenter: Torben Tambo on behalf of Hans Foxby’s Foundation, Kyocera Unimerco.
- Winter graduate of the year. Prize presenter: Maja Pallesen and Josefine Svanberg from the Danish Society of Engineers, IDA.
