Final admission figures for BTECH Herning
The final admission figures for the degree programmes at Aarhus University, Herning are now available: The Department of Business Development and Technology (BTECH). Economics and Business Administration (in Danish) has seen the largest increase in student intake while the international BScB in Economics and Business Administration has seen a decrease.
This year, the Bachelor’s degree programme in Economics and Business Administration has seen as significant increase in student intake. No less than 110 new students have started this year compared to 91 students last year.
The degree programme Global Management and Manufacturing (GMM) has also seen an increase with 27 new students this year compared to 24 last year.
The largest decrease is found at the BScB in Economics and Business Administration with 55 new students this year compared to 73 last year. Furthermore, the BDE (Business Development Engineer) degree programme has seen a minor decrease in student intake.
Deputy Department Head Jan Laursen says: “Naturally, we’re very pleased to have maintained last year’s excellent admission figures on the Bachelor’s programmes and to have increased the admission figures on the Master’s programmes by 21 per cent. It’s also more than we had dared hope for. We’re also delighted to note that today, two weeks after the beginning of the semester, the students seem both committed and motivated for their new life as university students.”

Furthermore, 19 students have enrolled in BTECH’s business engineering specialisation programme in Aarhus.
