The world’s largest tech network, IEEE, coming to Aarhus
IEEE, the world’s largest tech network with over 360,000 members, will hold its next conference at Aarhus University in November. Main theme: Technology for the Betterment of Human Communication.
Between 3-400 people from the largest companies and universities in the world - Cisco, HP, Google, Princeton, Stanford, MIT and others - are coming to Aarhus when the Department of Business Development and Technology at Aarhus BSS, Aarhus University hosts the international IEEE conference on 27-30 November 2016.
The conference focuses on technology and business development in public and private companies, universities and other knowledge networks. The participants will explore the latest technology and find new ways of communicating, new business models and sustainable solutions for the future across national borders and fields of study.
Interdisciplinary conference themes
The subjects are related to wireless communication technologies, energy, safety and interpersonal communication, technology and business models. The conference also focuses on cognitive and self-organising networks, the Internet of Things, nanosensors, positioning and location technologies and borderless networks.

The City of Aarhus, represented by Mayor Jacob Bundsgaard, will host a reception in connection with the conference on Monday 28.11.2016 at 17:00-18:30 at the City Hall, and a gala dinner will be held in the Concert Hall Aarhus’ Foyer on Monday 28.11.2016 at 19:00-22:30. The press is welcome to attend.
